#2. Using the option called "Smart Object."

By using "Smart object," You can save the image from Pixelation because the "Smart Object" option saves the Proportions of the picture. And it keeps the image quality the same when you resize it according to your needs.

Methods of applying "Smart Object":-

Way 1 (By clicking on the layer):-

1st Step:- Right-click on the layer

2nd Step:- Choose the option "Convert to Smart Object" from the dropdown menu.

              Your Normal layer is successfully converted to the Smart Object layer.

Way 2  (By finding the option from the Menu bar):-

1st Mark:- Click on the Layer option from the top menu bar. 

2nd Mark:- Then choose the option named as Smart objects.

3rd Mark:- After that select, the option "Convert layer to Smart Object" from the dropdown menu.

               Your Normal layer is successfully converted to the Smart Object layer.

When your layer is converted to a Smart Object, you can observe that there is a new icon formed as shown in the above image.

#3. Betterment of using Multiple Layers.

1. By using Layers, you can change the layer on which you want the outcome to be replaced.
2. By using layers, you don't have to undo effects or elements, if you have to change it or replace it.

You can use left square brackets to decrease the brush size and right square brackets to increase the brush size.

#5. Abilities of the Clip Masking Feature.

The option 'Clip Masking." clips the layer below on which the "Clip Masking."
There are 3 Ways to use or apply "Clip Masking."

Way 1:-

Let us understand with an example. (Inserting an image into the text)

1. Creating a text layer in which you want to insert an image.
2. Write any word or sentence in the text layer.
3. Choosing a Picture.
4. In my case, I am choosing this image.

5. Drag the layer on the top in which the picture (you chose) is present.

6. Then Right-click on the top layer.

7. Select the option named as "Create clipping mask."

After that, you will see that the image is now inserted in the text layer.


Way 2:-

First Step:- Go to the Layers panel.

Second Step:- Select two layers. (In my case I have layer one containing flower and layer two is the text layer)

Third Step:- Press Alt and hower the cursor between these two layers.

Fourth Step 4:- Now you will see an Arrow on the cursor then click the line between the two layers.

After that, you will see that the image is now inserted in the text layer.


Way 3:- 

You can use a Shortcut Key for it.

#6. Usabilities of the Adjustment layer option.

You can select types of Adjustment Layers by clicking on the Icon which is shown in the above image.

There are multiple types of Adjustment Layer(Example:- Brightness, Contrasts, Levels, Hue and saturation and many more) which you can choose from the dropdown menu which appears when you click on the icon represented in the Image Above.

It (Adjustment) layer affects only the layer, which is below it.
  1. Adjustment layers don't have content of their own.
  2. They are used in the Non-Destructive way of photo editing.
  3. By using adjustment layers, you can save your time by changing the effects on the adjustment layer.
  4. You can use adjustment layers for Colour Correction and many more effects that work Non-Destructively.

#7. Applying the Layer Mask option.

You can Add Layer masks to your layers by clicking on the icon shown in the above image.

Layer Mask option provides the ability to Hide and Unhide the Pixels or elements without deleting them.

By using them, you can remove the background of any object which is present in an image.

Steps:-

1st Step:- Go to the layer panel.
2nd Step:- Select a Layer on which you want to use "Layer Mask."
3rd Step:- Click on the Layer Mask icon.

Now you can see the white thumbnail on the right side of the layer on which the Layer Mask is applied.

Steps for using Layer Mask option to Hide and Unhide any Pixels or Elements from an image in Photoshop.

1st Step:- Press "D" Letter from your keyboard, for selecting Black and White as Background and Foreground colors.

2nd Step:Open the Image in a New Layer.

3rd Step:- Select the Layer mask Thumbnail, as shown in the image below.

4th Step:- Then, press "B" Letter from your keyboard, for choosing the Brush tool.

5th Step:- Now,
                       If you have to hide any part or object from the selected image, then select Black as your Foreground color.
                 
                Or 

                       If you have to unhide any part or object from the selected image, then select White as your Foreground color.

#8. Use the Shortcut key for Zoom in and Zoom out.

There are many Keyboard shortcuts present in Photoshop ( Example:- Changing opacity, Changing Brush size, Deselect, Select, and many more).

Press and hold  Ctrl + SpaceBar

Then by Dragging the cursor Left or Right, You can Zoom in or Zoom out the Canvas in Photoshop with ease.

#9. Changing Opacity with Ease.

You can change the Opacity of the selected layer by pressing the Numbers 0 to 9 from your keyboard.

The opacity will decrease when you Press a shorter number and Opacity will increase when you Press a Greater number from  0 to 9.

#10. Making copies of elements in less time.

By pressing the Alt button, before you click on an object and then moving the object, this step will automatically duplicate the object.

This step is beneficial when wanting to make many copies of one object without having to right-click or without dragging the layer.

#11. Work in the CMYK option for Printing.

When you create a new project in Photoshop then you can choose between multiple colors mode.

Then Choose CMYK for printing Projects.

Although most people prefer to work in RGB option due to the more beautiful screen colors and added filter capabilities, remember that when creating a project for Printing, that will eventually go for Printing, it is always to advisable to work in CMYK, so you do not experience color shifting when its being Printing.

#12. Work in RGB for websites.

When you create a new project in Photoshop then you can choose between multiple colors mode.

Then Choose CMYK for printing Projects.

Like you shouldn't use RGB for printing design, You shouldn't use CMYK for web design.
Internet Explorer and other browsers only read RGB images.

#13. Save your original Adobe Photoshop files.

#14. Merge all the Layers to the New Layer.

There is no Menu option in Photoshop for doing this Task.

But there is a Secret/Hidden Hotkey or Shortcut Key present for doing this task.

              Ctrl + Shift + Option +E
